Gouache
Whenever I get stuck in my acrylic painting, which is at least once a year, I experiment with other media. This year's exploration took me in and out of water-based media and paper. After much trial and error, I began to get some traction doing abstract studies in goauche (an opaque watercolor) on watercolor paper. I've enjoyed working at a smaller scale, with a chance to do many experiments at low cost (in time and resources). Here are some of the best early experiments.
